Water Quality Database for the Colorado River for Stakeholders
Mesa County, Colorado
Western Water & Land has developed a secure database service for stakeholders interested in monitoring the quality of water upstream of the valley. The database was built to collect and house water quality data from various agencies for the Colorado River as it enters the Grand Valley, and to provide an important management tool to establish a baseline water chemistry assessment for the Colorado River in the Grand Valley and identify potential water quality impacts to the Grand Valley in response to upstream actions (diversions, water management changes, and development actions). The database is designed to be accessible by authorized users to quickly retrieve data by using pre-programmed queries and reports that allow the user to choose the desired parameters.
