Hydrologic Reconnaissance & Hazard Assessment: Municipal Watersheds
Mesa County, Colorado Western Water & Land conducted hydrologic reconnaissance and an assessment of an active landslide impacts within two adjacent municipal watersheds in Mesa County, Colorado. The reconnaissance component of the project included a spring inventory, water quality sampling, and re commendations for potential water resource development. The hazard assessment focused on an active landslide area and an evaluation of the potential impacts on watershed development structures in the vicinity of the landslide. The assessment resulted in the development of recommended strategies for relocation of threatened structures as appropriate. |
